I fell in love with gymnastics as I watched the 1984 Olympics. Gymnastics led to cheerleading and I cheered for NWCC, Morehouse, and U. T. Knoxville in the 90’s. 1994 was my first paid coaching job and I was hooked. Since then, I have coached athletes on Jr./Middle School, High School, and Allstar squads to become regional, state, and national champions. My students have successfully made it to over 15 different college and university dance and cheerleading squads. Upwards of 20 former students have become collegiate national champions at NWCC, Univ. of Memphis, and Univ. of MS.
I represent the 3rd of 4 generations of military men in my family. I have been married over 20 years to my wife and we have 3 children (my youngest cheers here at Storm) and one dog, Socs.
I have officiated several marriages of a few of my former athletes. I love coaching, riding my ZX14 motorcycle, and spending time with my family.
